We have many new and exciting things  

happening at the

Village Kitchen Shoppe! 

We are proud to announce the addition of some new hands-on cooking classes, a summer cooking “camp” for kids, a spectacular new meal service and knife sharpening/small appliance repair to our repertoire.  Scroll down for more information.

 

 

Kid’s Cooking Camp!!

Looking for something educational and fun this summer for your young aspiring chef?  We are now taking sign-ups for our Kid’s Cooking Camp! This is a personalized, hands-on cooking class designed to excite and teach kids about the world of cooking.   If you are interested, call us asap at 626-914-7897 as this is a very popular class with limited space for sign-ups, due to the nature of the class.

Week 1:  Ages 7-11.  Class runs Monday, June 11th thru Friday, June 15th 2012.
Class time is 11am-1pm.   Cost: $250 for the week 

6/11: Crispy Panko Chicken, Honey Mustard Sauce and Homemade Ice Cream In A Bag

6/12: Hummus In A Bag, Homemade Pita Chips, Homemade Spaghetti and Meatballs

To Go Meal Services!

We have partnered with a personal chef who specializes in meal services.  Plate It Up by Meg makes having a personal chef a luxury that anyone can afford!  She has created meal services specifically for those families who are trying to save money, but still want to have healthy and delicious meals on their table with no prep time at all.  This service has two convenient options:

Option #1:  Pick Up Calendar Meal Service

Choose from the monthly calendar (these menus can be viewed online at www.plateitupbymeg.com), call in or email your order at least three days ahead of time and pick up your prepared meals.   $12.00 per person

Option #2: Weekly Custom Meal Service

Great for people with special dietary needs! Includes five healthy, delicious, custom made meals to fit your specific needs.  Follow the re-heating directions on your meal prep sheet and have delicious dinners on the table in minutes! Pick-up or delivery available.

$195.00: 5 meals, serves 4 people

$100.00: 5 meals, serves 2 people

$10.00 delivery charge

We accept payment for meal pick-up here at VKS but all checks are to be made out to Plate It Up. 

 

NEW ADULT HANDS-ON COOKING CLASSES

You’ve requested and we have listened: introducing new hands-on cooking classes on Thursday nights! Classes begin at 6:00pm and the cost is $50.  Spaces are limited in these classes due to the personalized nature of the class.
